These leaks are difficult to find because we have to take the unit apart to find leaking capillary tubes and solder them with another piece of copper tube over the leaking capillary tube.

Air conditioner or heat pump coils leak and can need repair or replacement. Most of the time the leak is in the coils; many times this can be repaired or the coil will need to be replaced. This is a job for an experienced technician.
