Faucet repair:

Fixing or replacing your faucet is inexpensive compared to the cost of water being wasted, and not to mention the affects one faucet can have on the environment. Repairing the faucets in your home may seem easy, but they have valves and seals as well as threads and washers that wear out, and when they do we’ll repair or replace your faucets the same day. We’ll also check the faucets, or hose bibs as they’re called, on the outside of your home because leaking Faucets will attract mice, flies, and ants and the cost of dealing with these pests will be much more expensive than the cost of repairing the faucets.
Emergency faucet repair: If your faucets leak turns into an emergency, which will happen if the valves or seals in the faucet have been a problem for a long period of time, the cold and hot water shut-off valves are usually located under your sink in the kitchen and bathrooms. Look for the chrome oval handles and turn them clockwise to shut of the water supply to the faucets. These can be hard to turn because they don’t get much use so use a pair of pliers if necessary.

Matching existing plumbing fixtures is as important as matching the metal on light fixtures and door handles in your bathroom or kitchen. If you’re only changing the faucets in your bathroom or kitchen then naturally you’ll want to use the same colors and metals as your cabinet hardware and door handles. If you want a new look you should consider brushed chrome or nickel for an elegant look, or a matte or semi matte finish for a modern look that’s easy to clean as well.
Faucets for washing machines are not usually demanding from a design standpoint but washing machine faucets cause a lot of damage every year and it usually involves the hot and cold water hoses on the washing machine so make sure you check these out at least once a year.
